If you’re not familiar with them, the African Children’s Choir is made up of children from several African countries, all of whom became orphans due to the AIDS pandemic. Their goal is to raise awareness of the plight of Africa’s orphaned children while showing the “beauty, dignity, and potential” of the African child. A new choir is selected every year so that the performers have the opportunity to return home & complete their schooling, and their education is completely funded by the African Children’s Choir. It’s just as the name implies: a “Journey of Hope.”
