One of my girlfriends sends her daughter to Camp Kingfisher at the Chattahoochee Nature Center for at least a week each summer. Roswell’s a bit of a haul for me, but I may take advantage of this deal to buy myself a week of peace this summer. Besides, why have a mobile office if you don’t take advantage of the flexibility?

If you sign up with a friend, you’ll both save $75 on each full-day week camp session and $50 on each half-day week camp session. The discount applies to all campers in the family, and it’s good for all weeks the families sign up for camp. Even if you’ve already registered, you’ll get a refund & they’ll get the discount if you persuade someone new to sign up for camp. The catch: At least one family needs to be new to Camp Kingfisher (like we are).

Also, the discount applies to member & nonmember camp rates. If you’re not already a member of Chattahoochee Nature Center, go ahead & join when you fill out the form; you’ll save more than by paying the nonmember rate.

Of course, I should probably make sure the kids know how to swim before I send them off to a camp that involves swimming & canoeing…maybe this will motivate them to take their lessons seriously. Hmm.
