Update: Ringling Bros. Circus Discounts

Posted By ATLCheap on February 9, 2010

Here’s the current list of discounts to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus:image_thumb25

  • Save up to $8 on tickets to select performances. To get the deal, use promo code “2010FUN” when you order tickets online. You’ll get the best value on $8 off days (Feb. 12 & 19 at 10:30 a.m., Feb. 15 at 12:30 p.m., and Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m.), when the promo code drops the $14-$35 price levels down to $6-$27 per ticket. And Z was able to use the promo code at the box office, too, so you can save even more.
  • Feld Entertainment & United Way Atlanta have partnered for a good deal: Your $25 donation = two tickets to the circus (reg. $44). Your $50 donation = 4 tickets (reg. $88).
  • You can save 20% on tickets by using promo code “GASSOUTH”. The deal is valid for the $35, $28, $22, & $14 price levels only, and it expires Feb. 11, 2010. Sharon called, and you can use it at the box office, too.
  • WSB-TV is offering a coupon for 50% off on opening night, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m.. The coupon states that it’s good at the box office, too, so that’s your best bet, as far as deals are concerned. And you can save 50% on tickets online, too. Hat tip to Elizabeth who noticed that the full-price tickets are already marked half off for the $14-$35 price levels.
  • The 4 for $44 ticket deal may come back, but the promo code won’t work unless the “MC Promotion” box is on the order page (I can’t make it work without it). If it’s there, use promo code “MOM” to get the deal. If it comes back, it’ll be valid for weekday performances, excluding Friday nights.

As always, I try to remain a neutral party when posting deals. If it offends you to see elephants or other animals in live performances, this isn’t the circus for you.

I got the 50% deal at ticketmaster. When I selected the Friday 7:30 performance, the regular price tickets were already cut in half, you don’t need a code. Thanks for the heads up about the deal.

If you go down to the Arena you can avoid the ticketmaster fees and use the 2010FUN promo code. We got $6 tickets in the center section of the 300 level, which for adults and a circus, I think are great seats. I’d rather have the full view of all the action from above.

Is the GASSOUTH promo code good at the box office as well? Thanks.

  4. Sharon says:

I confirmed with the box office, the GASSOUTH promo code is accepted at the box office.

Went to the Circus this morning. I LOVED IT. As an adult who hasn’t been since I was a kd, I found it fun, relaxing and entertaining. Dancing elephants, tigers, dogs, magic tricks and more. Some info that may help: Show lasted about 2:20 mins total, with a 18 min intermission 70 minutes into the show (so if you have kids make them use the bathroom before the show and during the intermission). Lots of light up toys n stuff for sale everywhere, so discussing stuff like that before hand may save you some money. We brought our own lunches from home and had a picnic inside CNN on the public tables. Plenty of cheap fast food places too inside the food court as well. Just make sure to throw away your leftovers before entering the arena. I would recommend planning ahead to make sure you’re on time too. — As far as seating goes — if you looking for cheap seats try to get section 310 or 309, 311 – the lower row in the section the better since some of the highwire acts can’t really been seen from row K or higher. Plus less people walking in front of you using the bathroom or being late etc. Deffinately stay away of sections 301-306, I can’t imagine being able to see great all the action from those. It’s pretty much a 2 1/2 ring circus. In the lower level you’d want 104 midway up or higher. All the acts etc come out of the left side (of the arena map) so too far to the left or too far to the right you’ll miss stuff. My “2010FUN” promo code came in my local SavvyShopper.

Ringling Brothers abuses animals. The animals are beaten into submission. There are VIDEOS of the torture that these animals endures by the trainers. Ringling has a LONG and DOCUMENTED history of animal abuse. MANY elephants have DIED in the care of Ringling.
