Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Ticket Deals Update

Posted By ATLCheap on January 21, 2010

Disclaimer: I do not take a position re: the circus. Some of you do. Please don’t turn the comments into a slug-fest.

Several of you have emailed asking for ticket deals to Ringling Bros. image upcoming Atlanta shows. Here’s the current list:

1) You can save 20% on tickets by using promo code “GASSOUTH”. The deal is valid for the $35, $28, $22, & $14 price levels only, and it expires Feb. 11, 2010.

2) The 4 for $44 ticket deal may come back, but the promo code won’t work unless the “MC Promotion” box is on the order page. If it’s there, use promo code “MOM”. Either way, you can buy tickets for 50% off for opening night–the full price tickets are already discounted 50% in the pull-down menu for the $14-$35 price levels.

3) WSB-TV is offering a coupon for 50% off on opening night, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. The coupon states that it’s good at the box office, too, so that’s your best bet, as far as deals are concerned. The other presale 50% off deals that I knew about have expired. I’ll check for more discounts closer to the date.

Do you know of any deals available for the Big Apple Circus yet?

Parents, don’t take your families to the Circus this year.
For decades Ringling Bros Circus has fooled many parents into believing that their shows are wholesome family entertainment, but it is just illusion. In order to train every elephant they have, they use a bullhook to torture and beat those elephants to make them perform at their shows. Sammy Haddock was so ashamed of the part he played in training baby elephants for Ringling Bros Circus that he could not remain silent, so he decided to confess. Looking at the pictures He says it shows ropes used to pull a baby elephant off balance, while a bullhook is applied to its head, in order to train it to lie down on command. “The baby elephant is slammed to the ground,” Haddock says. “See its mouth is wide open. It’s screaming bloody murder. It doesn’t have its mouth open for a carrot.”

You can stop this abuse now; do not take your families to the Circus.
The human equivalent to a circus elephant’s life, is life on death row.

He was also a paid plaintiff, which caused the courts to rule in favor of Ringling: http://www.ringlingbrostrialinfo.com/

  4. Melody Paris says:

Ringling has a long and documented history of abusing animals. If you support the circus you are supporting beating and torturing animals. There are plenty of videos of the animals being beaten by trainers. For more information and to see the videos go to:

    Don’t support animal cruelty!
