Update: 50% off Tickets to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus
Posted By admin on December 22, 2009
I’ve got good news & bad news:
The bad news: The “ZXC” promo code only works for the opening night, Feb. 12, 7:30 p.m. show.
The good news: With the promo code, select tickets are 50% off. Unfortunately, you can’t just choose “Best available” to get the best available seats at the discounted rate—the promo code works as a presale code, too. But I tested quite a few, and I know it works for VIP seats & the lower price levels. You should be OK if you skip the Circus Celebrity & Front Row tickets. And you can cross-check the prices on Ringling’s site to see if the discounted prices look reasonable.
To get either deal, use promo code “ZXC” when you order tickets online or by phone, 800-745-3000. There’s a chance they may honor the deal at the Philips Arena box office, too, so check there if you’re nearby to skip the fees. Kevin checked there on Sat., and they told him that he couldn’t buy the tickets since it’s a presale offer. The offer expires on December 25, 2009.
The even better news: The 4 for $44 ticket deal may be back. I’ll know more once tickets for Zing Zang Zoom go on sale to the public on December 26.

FYI–I’ve linked you directly to the ordering page using my affiliate link. Translation: I get credit for telling you about the deal, and they may choose to send a few cents my way to say, “Thanks for the referral.” I tell you this because a) My site’s rules require it. b) The FTC requires it.
I like to get paid for the work that I do re: tracking down deals, so if you plan to take advantage of the deal via Ticketmaster & feel like sending a little love my way, please use the link. Otherwise, go to Ticketmaster.com. Though by now you know my take on this–whenever possible, skip the fees altogether & buy your tickets at the box office.

Just a FYI. If the tickets are not onsale to the public yet they can not sale them at the box office. I double checked while I was down there Saturday. Until they are onsale to the public the ticket agents at the box office can’t pull up the tickets at all…
Kevin–not even with a presale code? I’m surprised by that. And their flyer directs you to Ticketmaster retail outlets, too. Odd.
Update: Just had a flash that you said “at the box office”. Hmm..I didn’t know that you couldn’t use the presale codes there, too. Seems like a natural spot for it.
“ZXC” worked for me tonight -50% off on VIP section.
