A Few More Hawks & Thrashers Ticket Deals
Posted By admin on December 10, 2009
You already know about these Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers discounts. Here are a couple of new ones to add to the mix:
1) Save 50% on Atlanta Hawks tickets—and you should skip Ticketmaster’s extra fees, too. The deal is valid for the following games:
- December 13 at 5:00 p.m. vs. New Jersey Nets. Promo code “HAWKS”.
- January 18 at 2:00 p.m. vs. Oklahoma City Thunder. Promo code “liveunited”.
To get the deal, you’ll need to follow these directions. 1) Click on the link for the desired game. 2) Use the promo code when prompted to “enter special offer code.” 3) Set up an account (only 5 questions). 4) Pick your seats. 5) Pay & print your tickets at home.
Also, the winner of the high school Poetry Slam contest held by the Hawks & the United Way of Atlanta will perform as part of the MLK, Jr. Day celebration during January 18 game.
2) Rana at the AJC came across a Thrashers deal on the Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s partner discount page: For the January 9, 2010, 7:00 p.m. Atlanta Thrashers game vs. the Washington Capitals, you’ll receive a free child’s ticket for every paid adult ticket. If you go, head out early for arts & crafts, a visit with Thrash (the Thrashers’ mascot), & a performance by the Imaginators.

FYI–I’ve just discovered (and joined) Ticketmaster’s affiliate program. I’ve revised this post to link you directly to the ordering page using my affiliate link. Translation: I get credit for telling you about the deal, and they may choose to send a few cents my way to say, “Thanks for the referral.” I tell you this because a) My site’s rules require it. b) The FTC requires it.
I like to get paid for the work that I do re: tracking down deals, so if you plan to take advantage of the deal via Ticketmaster & feel like sending a little love my way, please use the link. Otherwise, go to Ticketmaster.com. Though by now you know my take on this–whenever possible, skip the fees altogether & buy your tickets at the box office.
