There are a few restrictions with this deal on My Daily Thread, but if you like to shop for gifts for people (or yourself) and want to hide your savings, this may be a good fit for you: Through midnight on December 1, you can buy a $70 certificate for Meringue Boutique for $30 on My Daily Thread. If 50 people buy the deal, you’ll get a bonus certificate worth 15% off a future purchase, too.

The restrictions: You can’t use it to buy accessories, jewelry or T-shirts, and you can only use one voucher per visit. The voucher can be redeemed from Dec. 2, 2009-April 4, 2010.

The confusion: The deal write-up states that Meringue is hosting a party on December 2 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. There’ll be light hor dourves & cocktails, and “as a special treat, you’ll receive an extra $10 off when you redeem your DailyDeal voucher.” Does that mean you can cash in your voucher early & get a bonus? Or does it mean that they’ll note you were at the party & when you return two days later, you’ll get the bonus? Who knows. I’ve posted a comment on the DailyDeal post, & I’ll update this post when I find out more info. Update: They’ve changed the redemption dates to eliminate the confusion. It’s now valid from Dec. 2, 2009-April 4, 2010, so you can use it at the party, too.
