Yum. I’m in need of a sugar fix. But it needs to be the right kind—at this point, the best Halloween candy is long gone, and though I’ll have apple pie on Thursday, I really want some cake. Red Velvet cake, to be precise.

Want to indulge for free? On Thursday, December 3, 2009, head to Piece of Cake in Roswell to sample their wares. From 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., they’ll offer free samples of layer cakes (red velvet, white chocolate, and caramel) as well as cupcakes, cookies, & brownies.
