A few deals caught my eye today on the discount certificate sites:
1) Today’s Groupon deal: $10 buys a $25 certificate good at either of The Flying Biscuit Cafe’s Buckhead locations. I got mine—looking forward to breakfast out (though it’ll likely be breakfast for lunch or dinner…). There’s a limit of one per visit, and the Groupon coupon will expire in a year.
2) HalfOffDepot.com has quite a few good deals on its site today. If you haven’t browsed in a while, check it out. Here are a few (numbers accurate when I gathered them…):
- Octane Coffee: $4.50 for $10 certificate. 223 available.
- Front Page News: $12.50 for $25 certificate. 50 available.
- Sal Grosso: $25 for $50 certificate. 47 available.
- “A Christmas Carol” at the Aurora Theatre: $15 tickets to the Dec. 4, Dec. 5, and Dec. 6 performances for $7.50 each. 15-18 available for each performance.
- Atlanta Skydiving Center-One Tandem Jump: $97.50 for a $195 certificate. 29 available.
- The Atlanta Opera’s Orfeo & Euridice: $70 tickets for $35 each. Valid for Nov. 17 performance only. 17 available.
- Gordon Biersch: $12.50 for $25 certificate. 38 available.

FYI–I’ve linked you to my Groupon kick-back page. Translation: If you buy a Groupon within 72 hours of clicking on the link, and it’s the first time you’ve bought a Groupon, I’ll receive a small credit toward a future Groupon. I tell you this because a) My site’s rules require it. and b) The FTC requires it of bloggers, though I think my site is technically exempt.
If you’re going to buy your first Groupon ever & feel like sending a little love my way, use the link. Otherwise, just go to Groupon.com. Thanks!
