Here’s another deal from 11 Alive’s site: You can save $11 on tickets to see the Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier. It’s a 7-mile drive, and there are literally millions of lights. Regular admission for cars with a 1-9 passenger capacity is $40 on Monday-Thursday & $60 on Friday-Sunday, holidays, & Dec. 21-24. The coupon is valid from Nov. 21-30, 2009, only.

Too Damn High for anybody to see these lights, sponsered by coca cola and jackson emc they get enought of the peoples money that its rediculous to charge this amount.
I agree…the economy is bad and if you want to take you family to see this and get into the Christmas Spirit you wont be able to buy any gifts afterward…60.00 to drive my own vehicle through….Give me a break…not to mention to buy the cocoa and marshmellows….ride the rides…
It’s Lanier Islands that charges for the tour, not Coke or EMC. But I agree, it’s way too much to have to drive your own car around. Only alternative is to go in to the park early – go shop at the Santa Store maybe, THEN go see the lights when it gets dark.
oh, and another thing – we always take our own marshmellows!
