Free Admission to Brazil Fest Atlanta 2009

FYI—If you’re planning to go to Brazil Fest Atlanta 2009 this weekend, you must RSVP to get in. Tickets are free, but there are a limited number available (click here to RSVP).

Here’s a look at the Brazil Fest Atlanta 2009 schedule of events:

Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m.:  There’ll be a cocktail reception and the opening of “The Pierre Verger Masterpiece Photos” art exhibition at the Bank of America Plaza-28th floor. Rose Max and Ramatis will perform Bossa Nova music, too.

Friday, Nov. 13, at 7:00 p.m.: Duo Double-Bass & Piano, Milton Masciadri, and Ana Flavia Frazao will pay tribute to Brazilian classical music genius Heitor Villa-Lobos in the Bank of America Plaza Auditorium. The performances will be followed by a screening of “Villa-Lobos, a Life of Passion.”

On Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:45 p.m., the Brazil Skindo Group and Rose Max will perform a concert celebrating the music & rhythm of Africa & Brazil in the Bank of America Plaza Auditorium.
