On Sunday, November 1, at 3:30 p.m., the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will host a The 101 Dalmatians The Musical Send-Off Spectacular. The free event features games, music, contests, & prizes, plus you can check out the “Doggie Palace,” which the furry stars of The 101 Dalmatians Musical call home during the national tour.

While you’re there, you’ll get a chance to chat with the Smyrna Fire Department about fire prevention or meet a few loveable (and adoptable) pets from the Gwinnett Humane Society. Leave your heart strings at home though. They’re cute, but make sure you’re ready for the financial & personal commitment of pet ownership before you bring one home (stepping off soap box now—had a brief stint working for a vet, and I saw many pets “adopted for the kids” later abandoned on our doorstep).
