It’s a scream on the green event (ha!): On Friday, October 30, head to the Emory Quadrangle for Mummies & Milkshake (milkshakes sold separately). The event’s free for members of the Carlos Museum, and it’s $5 for non-members. You’ll get a chance to visit the mummies in the Egyptian galleries & watch classic mummy flicks—mummy cartoons, The Three Stooges short “We WAnt Our Mummy,” and the 1932 classic “The Mummy.”

The cartoons begin at 7:00 p.m., and the films begin at 7:45 p.m. Bring blankets & chairs as well as a few buck for a milkshake whipped up by Jake’s Ice Cream (on sale starting at 6:30 p.m.). Hot chocolate will be available if it’s cold. If it rains, you’ll need to go to the Carlos Museum Reception Hall.
