On the third Wednesday of the month, head to the lobby of the Rialto Center for the Arts from noon-1:00 p.m for a free lunchtime concert series: Feed Your Senses. The Septemebr 16 performance features Kevin Kmetz, master of the shamisen, a kind of Japanese lute. If his name sounds familiar, it may be because you know him as a member of the band “God of Shamisen”. As you can probably imagine, his style offers a modern take on the traditional sounds of the shamisen. The performance is free, and you can bring your lunch or buy a box lunch there for $5.
