Free Screening of Food, Inc. at Midtown Art Cinemas on July 16
Posted By admin on July 14, 2009
Well, that headline about says it all.
I want to see Food, Inc., but I also enjoy eating food. If I’m going to lose my appetite for a while, at least I can lose it for free. On July 16, head to Midtown Art Cinemas for a free screening of Food, Inc. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. You know the drill—seating is limited, so if you want to go, get there in time to snag a seat.
Thanks to @stevenatl for the lead & to Chipotle for sponsoring the freebie. I don’t always remember to give a shout-out to the sponsors…apologies (and many, many thanks) to those of you that I’ve missed in the last year.
Midtown Art Cinema is located at 931 Monroe Dr., Atlanta. 678-495-1424

Update: They’ve cancelled the free screening of Food, Inc tomorrow night.
Travis–where are you getting that information from? It’s still listed on Chipotle’s site, and I called over to Midtown Art Cinemas, and as far as they’re aware, the free Food, Inc., screening is still going on. ~Jenn
I called Midtown Art Cinema shortly before my first comment and got a recording about showtimes and when the guy was talking about Food, Inc showtimes he stated that the free showing had been cancelled.
I spoke to someone at the cinema and she said the free screening was going on tonight @ 7:30 be there early tickets are first come first serve.
I just called the Midtown Arts Theater at 678-495-1424 and it stated on the recording that the 7:25 PM showing of FOOD INC was canceled.
I called and spoke to a person at the theater. They “canceled” the 7:25 PM show so that no one could purchase tickets. The free screening of Food Inc is still going to happen this afternoon.
