My girls love this venue, and I’m fairly sure we’ll be taking advantage of this deal. This show looks too adorable to miss: ![]()
You can buy one ticket, get one free to Father Goose’s Tales at the Center for Puppetry Arts. The BOGO offer is valid for the 2:00 p.m. performances on June 23, 24, 25 & 26. There’s a limit of four tickets per order, and as always, it’s not valid with another discount.
To get the deal, call 404-873-3391 and mention Atlanta on the Cheap or order online and use promo code “ATLCHEAP”.
Tickets are $16 ($8 each after the discount), and they include admission to the performance and a Create-A-Puppet Workshop as well as admission to the museum, currently home to a must-see Jim Henson exhibit. Great. Now Fraggle Rock is running through my head…“Dance your cares away, worries for another day. Let the music play, down in Fraggle Rock.” End musical interlude.
FYI—there is free parking behind the building. Per their website, it’s “limited,” but I’ve had fairly good luck snagging a space when I go.
FYI #2—Technically, this is a half-off deal. If you order tickets online, a “Half-Off” ticket box will pop up once you enter the promo code. Select the number of tickets in that box instead of “Adult,” “Child,” etc., to get the deal.
The Center for Puppetry Arts is located at 1404 Spring St. NW at 18th St., Atlanta.

This is great! Did Park get in touch with you? I told him about your awesome blog!
Beth,
Yep–Park got in touch, and viola–exclusive deal. Thanks for spreading the word.
I still can’t get the code to work (Tuesday at noon). Any ideas?
Park’s checking with the box office to get the online code fixed ASAP. In the meantime, call the box office (number above in post). You can definitely get the deal that way.
I got it to work online! I’ve been wanting to take my boys to a show there, but the price was keeping me from doing so. Thanks.
