Become a Member & Save at the Laughing Skull Lounge

Posted By admin on June 9, 2009

I love this deal. If you love it as much as I do, act fast. The offer is limited to 50 people.

For a limited time, you can buy a membership to the Laughing Skull Lounge. For $299 (general admission) or $349 (VIP), you’ll get two tickets/weekend through December 30, 2009. Sound expensive? It’s not. If my math’s right, that’s about 28 shows, which means you & a guest can get in for about half (or maybe even a quarter) of the regular admission price. The tickets are transferable, too, so you can give them to clients or pass them to a friend if you can’t make it that weekend. And the tickets are valid for all shows, including special events.

FYI: Spring for the VIP tickets—general admission tickets require a two-drink minimum.

For more information or to sign up for the membership program, email contact@vortexcomedy.com.

You must be 18 or older to attend. The Laughing Skull Lounge is located at 878 Peachtree St., Atlanta. 877-523-3288.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but in my experience the “two drink minimum” just means that if you order drinks from the small bar inside the Comedy Club part of the Vortex, you need to get two. That bar has a dramatically smaller selection than the main bar in the restaurant, so before the show you can freely go to the bigger bar and order whatever and however many you want from the bar and take it back into the club with you. Not that you said this, but I don’t think the minimum means you are required to get 2 drinks with your GA ticket even if you don’t want any.

It’s possible; I don’t know the fine points of their 2-drink minimum rule. I don’t like drink minimums in general, so I’d go with the VIP level to avoid it. Two drinks from either bar (even PBR) would add up quickly over 28 shows. Jenn
