Last Chance: King Tut Leaves Town May 17
Posted By admin on May 15, 2009
Don’t miss out. The King Tut exhibition leaves town May 17. Most of the deals have come & gone, but you still have a couple of ways to get in for less:
- The online order page offers a Family Four Pack discount, no promo code required. I just tried it out, and tickets came up at $11.50 each–even better than half off. If you order online, just choose your day then scroll down and select your tickets next to the box marked "Family Four Pack." I won’t swear by it, but I’ve heard that these tickets will admit four people of any age.
- A quick look at the ticket order page shows a few more deals: Kids 5 & under are free, and those ages 6-17 get in for 50% off. Plus, AMEX Cardmembers can order discounted tickets for $24.35 each.
- Join the Michael C. Carlos Museum at the $150 level & above and you’ll receive two free tickets to the King Tut exhibition with no ticket fees and the ability to buy additional tickets at a discounted rate. Plus, membership includes reciprocal admission to over 300 museums (excluding museums located within a 15 mile radius).
- Stay overnight at one of the Marriott’s family of participating properties and take advantage of the King Tut package, which starts at $144. The King Tut package includes two V.I.P. non-timed valid for any day & time, even if the exhibition is sold out; front of the line access to the exhibition; free hotel parking; and breakfast. Use promo code E0Q when making your reservation.
And remember: Making a good deal better, all tickets to Atlanta’s King Tut exhibition come with a King Tut Gold Partner Pass, giving the cardholder access priceless deals in Tutlanta. You can use the Tutlanta card to get buy one, get one admission to the Atlanta Botanical Garden; buy one, get one king-sized Underground Atlanta packages; half-off admission to Bodies…the Exhibition or Dialog in the Dark; 20% off meals at Agave & Geisha House; 10% off jewelry and clothing at Demure; and the list goes on. Some of the deals expire when King Tut leaves town; others last until the end of the month. It’s worth getting the card.
The Atlanta Civic Center is located at 395 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta.
