Once you start looking for deals, one often leads to another. I found this one while looking around the Georgia Renaissance Festival’s website.
From May 14-31, The Tempest will be performed at The Shakespeare Tavern. Not familiar with it? That’s the play where a shipwreck’s survivors find themselves on an enchanted island controlled by Prospero, a magician. There are sprites, family feuds, & all sorts of adventures. It should be a fun night at the theatre.

We went to the Tempest, sans a good deal…but enjoyed the HECK out of it. The actors perform before High School audiences during the year, to make Shakespeare come alive for them. They are seasoned, and very good. If you are looking for a stuffy time this isn’t it. It comes alive, much like it must have before common audiences hundreds of years ago. It’s all good!
