Half-Off Depot is a year old, and to celebrate, they’re offering free shipping on all purchases through the end of April. To get the deal, just enter promo code “hodbday” at the checkout.
Though Half-Off Depot is already a great deal since you can buy gift certificates for 50% off face value, they offer other extras that make it even better:
1) When you order certificates, always check the “Free Gifts & Limited Time Promotions” section of the site. You’ll find everything from free passes to movies & free certificates for body wraps at salons–just add them to your cart when you order.
2) Some certificates are better than half off. Right now, you can get a $100 certificate to Four Seasons Pottery for $40, a $25 certificate to The Loop pizza grill for $10, a $25 certificate to Pizzeria Venti for $10, & a $25 certificate to Cafe Circa for $10, among others.
3) Though some half-off certificate sites only offer paper certificates, a handful of the certificates on Half-Off Depot are plastic gift cards, giving you a cheap gift option that doesn’t look cheap. Right now, there are plastic gift cards available for Doc Chey’s, Stella Trattoria, Osteria 832, La Tavola, South City Kitchen, & Engine 11.

[...] Atlanta on the Cheap posted yesterday regarding the free shipping that Half Off Depot is offering through the end of the month. When checking out, just enter the code “hodbday”. I checked it out, and shipping to me was only $2.19, but hey, that’s valet money right there. [...]
Thanks for letting your readers know about our free shipping offer. We’re excited about how well the site is doing… and we’re really proud to be helping so many people live well and save money!
I paid for two 50% off car washes @ $14 each at Cactus Car Wash in Atlanta. They showed up on my credit card statement, but I never got the certificates. I just found the piece of paper on which I wrote down the Coupon Number: 100126853 and the date 12/02/09.
If the coupons are down-loadable, how do I do that?
Thanks.
Wow, that was well over a year ago now. Most deals, whether online or sent via mail, expire within 6 months to a year. I think it’s like with a deal or two that I’ve bought but forgot to use (coincidentally with a car wash)–there’s nothing that can be done this far after the fact.
