Paintings, Origami, & Paper at the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum

I spend so much time working & communicating via my laptop that when I hear someone talk about sending someone a note, one that’s handwritten on paper, my first thought is often, “Paper? What is this paper of which you speak?” Granted, I still prefer to read books & magazines on paper–Kindle, you have not won me over yet.
If paper seems like an artifact to you, too, or check out the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum. You’ll find over 10,000 watermarks, papers, tools, machines and manuscripts.
Through May 22, you can add a new dimension to your understanding of paper and its many uses. Beginning with the opening reception on April 2 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., you’ll find origami by Nate Moore and acrylic-and-ink paintings on Hanji (handmade mulberry paper) by Jiha Moon. FYI–The origami isn’t just little cranes & such. Moore gives the art form a contemporary twist.
The Robert C. Williams Paper Museum at Georgia Tech is located at 500 10th St. NW, Atlanta. 404-894-7840
