If you’re a museum junkie like me, you’ll want to take advantage of this deal: The Smithsonian is planning a new museum, and they want to make sure they create something that kids will love.
What better way to make that happen than to ask them? To find out what’s fun about museums (and, more importantly, what’s not), they’re inviting metro-Atlanta’s kids to participate in what is essentially a focus group.
There’ll be two sessions on Saturday, March 28: 10:00 a.m-noon for ages 7-10, and 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. for ages 11-13. All kids who are accepted to the participate & who complete the project will receive two free passes each to five Atlanta-area museums. Good deal.
The NMAAHC Youth Advisory Group meetings will take place at Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. To participate, you’ll need to register online by Sunday, March 15. If your child is accepted, you’ll be notified by March 17. Have fun!
